The 80th Annual Academy Awards have come and gone, and the night’s big winners were all smiles as they were handed their coveted statuettes one-by-one.
Noticeably, No Country for Old Men had a great night, won four overall including best picture.The Bourne Ultimatum won three Oscars, albeit in technical categories. There Will Be Blood and La Vie en Rose were the only other multiple winners, with two apiece.
Most of winners were as expected, but many people do not seem to agree with Marion Cotillard won best actress for her performance as Edith Piaf in “La Vie en Rose”. It’s because lots of people wished Julie Christie winning for “Away From Her”. But well… personally I think Marion did her performance pretty well and it’s not quite strange her winning.
As expected, Daniel Day-Lewis won as best actor for There Will Be Blood. There were huge upsets in the actress categories, though.
